And if I really was after the ultimate in sharpness and detail, I'd get a Sigma DPxM or two or three. I have an RX1 for crispness and detail and a Nikon A that's not far behind at 28mm. On top of which, I didn't buy Fuji gear for ultra-sharp results anyway - I like it's rendering and colors and the shooting experience. I suppose I can see differences when pixel peeping, but these are more than good enough for me not to changing my whole workflow around for that last ounce of perfection. This is using the Velvia film mode and a sharpening preset I downloaded from someone I think on this forum. And more than OK at normal viewing sizes. Your taste may vary but these look fine to me even at the level of cropping and pixel peeping. Image looks well exposed, sharp, Photo Ninja is not bad either but the image tint is bluer and picture looks less exposed. Personally i think Irident is way better out of the box. The highlighted region in lightroom region looks blurry and washed out, image looks lot sharp in iridentĪgain PN appears dark but it is not too bad.
